I'm New to EduBlogging
#OETC14 is almost here and I'm excited to get a chance to catch up with all my colleagues and friends. However, what would a conference be without a #craftedu meet-up? Sure, there are plenty of tweet-ups, after-hour events, vendor parties, and the like, but with so many people gathering in Columbus, it only seems fitting that we have a #craftedu session!
I'm particularly excited about this event, because an old friend of mine has a place that is just perfect for a #craftedu event. The artist Bobby Silver has graciously invited us to gather at the establishment he co-owns in Olde Town East, Yellow Brick Pizza!
Bob is a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design and is an exceptional musician as well as a talented visual artist. I was fortunate to play in a band with Bob back in the day! He is an amazing bass player! You'll also be able to check out his fantastic chalk drawings while you sip a tasty beverage and talk about all things education related with your friends! Yellow Brick has over 20 craft brews on tap, plus a large variety of cans and bottles. In addition to their extensive drink menu, the also serve up some delicious food too.
Check out the details below and make sure to join us for the #craftedu fun!
